The government of the Boomers formative years betrayed the Millennials. The Boomers benefited from it at our expense, but I doubt the majority of them had any idea what was going on.
At one point you could own land in the US, but a choice was made between freedom and empire. Empire was chosen and here we are now. Rates can be added anytime a Government makes that choice. That's why we stack sats not land.
