I agree with you. There are certainly some people who simply don't want to be saved who are destined to be cannon fodder. And it is wise to direct your best efforts toward those who have the highest potential of receiving the message. But I'm not giving up on the others just yet. I'm still up for the thankless task, at least for now.

I also agree with your comment about political education being more important than the technology. Though, it reminds me of the saying "money isn't everything, but it's a lot". I feel the same applies here. Political education isn't everything, but it's a lot.

That's the beauty of the human race; there are many of us. We can focus on achieving multiple goals simultaneously. There will always be a portion of us dedicated to education, and others dedicated to scaling. Both are important in their own right.

For the record, I don't think we'll ever reach 100% adoption of anything, but as they say, shoot for the moon and you'll land among the stars.

It is important to think in a generational context, rather than that of a single lifetime. We are planting trees of which we will never enjoy the shade. The last block won't be mined until 2140 and that will just be the beginning.

I am on Nostr, so it's safe to assume I've spoken to people about it irl. And you're right, most people are resistant at first, which is to be expected from people who are not ready to exit the matrix, and is something I struggled with myself in the beginning as well. However I've seen many people come around after a few more conversations when it finally fully clicks for them. Implying that we should not continue trying to save people just because they're resistant or complacent in their current situation leads to giving up on others before you've even tried. The snake will bite the hand of the person rescuing it from a trap, but that doesn't make it unworthy of the attempt.

Most people were also okay with driving a horse and buggy before cars were invented. It's about the adoption curve. Early adopters iron out the kinks and blaze a trail for the masses to follow. Highways and bridges need to be engineered *beyond* the maximum potential capacity, not the current capacity.

Most people are "satisfied" with fiat because they don't have the capacity to question it.. yet. When they finally have a moment of clarity and realize they're being robbed, it's important that the alternatives be well equipped enough to make it a viable choice. Otherwise they'll go back to eating the lotus flower.
