The idea behind BIP-110 didn't die. 17,000 nodes told the network they believe Bitcoin is money. Bitcoin being decentralized, secure, "peer-to-peer electronic cash" may not manifest through BIP-110, b...
Yeah, this has got me thinking how Bitcoin is Money moves forward. I'd like to see a white paper deep diving on why this failed. I'd like to see a forum for focused discussion on 'Bitcoin is Money,' we can't only have coders moving this thing forward. The philosophers, critical thinkers, risk assessors and plebs need to be heavily involved. I'd like to see a full blown public spreadsheet risk assessment carried out on all 'Bitcoin is Money' attack surfaces. Leave no stone unturned, debate, discuss and action everything. Eliminate or minimise all surfaces. Run test code on private node networks, there seems to be enough willing participants. End toxicity, all this 'coretards' stuff is an absolute joke. End idolising people and begin idolising polished ideas. I don't care if you love Jeff Booth, Saylor, Mechanic or Mickey Mouse. The Bitcoin is Money protocol also needs a clear mission statement, the plebs need something they can get behind and a way to get properly involved, other than just running a node. Make it uncapturable, make it the turtle in this race. Maybe in time for block 1,000,001. Enjoying your book btw :)
