How do you find motivation to write good code and design good APIs if they will only be consumed by AI pretty soon, if not already?

I am excited to make other humans’ lives better, often for free (hence open-source), but I couldn’t care less if agents have a good time or not with my code

I just realized Anthropic CEO’s prediction that 90% of the code will be written by agents did come true. But not in a sense that existing projects will switch to agents. Github currently sees 10x more code, right? And all that new slop comes from LLMs. That’s exactly 90%!
