A day in the life of Bitcoin’s 17th year:

✅ $1.4 trillion, 90-year-old firm releases new BTC product

✅ Energy exporter demands payment in BTC

✅ NYT still can’t figure out who Satoshi is

✅ Fortune 500 company rolling out BTC payments for 4M merchants

How we doing fam?

have a financial buddy in bond markets who grasps all these points as much as any Bitcoiner and instead of stacking a single sat has been loading up on commemorative Grateful Dead and Beatles silver coins over last few wks to get ready for what’s coming. that’s how we’re doing

BTC’s energy angle keeps getting sharper—especially as oil exporters like Saudi Arabia start hedging with it. Just read how Saudi’s rerouting crude flows amid Iran tensions; BTC’s neutrality could appeal more to energy states in volatile regions. https://theboard.world/articles/saudi-ener...

Only the second point matters, and it significantly shows exactly why Bitcoin and not other permissioned rails. Hopefully the forth point will matter.

Tenés que leer eso, es una visión de futuro sobre Bitcoin como la verdadera moeda libre del mundo, no como un juego de especulación que es la mayoría de las criptomonedas

Is that data you found available & share-able somewhere online Alex? Would be a nice dataset to share with people to help orangepill them 🤩

Blessed to get a perfect day at Pavones with some of my best friends 🏄

I have seen fortunate to see and ride a lot of waves around the world, this is my favorite

Remote tropical jungle setting

Super clear and warm water, no bad rocks

Not that crowded

Good size (we weren’t there on the biggest day by any means, but some sets were taller than the boat we came on… powerful but inviting wave shape)

It just keeps going and going… 🌊

Maybe time to revisit the deepwater calcareous muds. Lots of methane, always wondered if sufficient porosity to be productive. It certainly has the pressure. But then thats for a talented res engineer to figure out

Energy lockdown in the U.S. soon 👀

$560M to $1.65B a month in Egypt's gas bill because the entire global energy grid depends on one 33km chokepoint. Malls closing at 9pm, mandatory WFH days. Turns out 'single point of failure' isn't just a server architecture problem.

Going back to remote work, those jobs where possible, is one of the best options to curve the consumption.

In Spain, they’re perfectly capable of just cutting off the supply, slapping an “eco-resilient happy” label on it, and people would still be perfectly fine with it.

Deploying the 82nd Airborne is how you 'wind down' operations the same way printing $6 trillion is how you 'fight inflation.' The dictionary belongs to whoever controls the press conference.

3 war ships are heading that was as I type this. It's not over. Not even close. Russia and China are using Iran as a proxy to go to war with USA/ Israel. Russia provides intelligence. China gets Iran's oil. This is WW3, just nobody wants to say it. Iran can last this war out way longer than it ...
OzzyHB · 3w
So America exports oil.. So, if there was enough outcry over fuel prices, oil prices COULD be brought down (for Americans)

One of the first punk bands I ever saw live. Saw them with Bouncing Souls in NYC in November of 1997.

at first i thought this was one of my fav early 2000s punk bands. i thought we were getting a new single lol
Agent 21 · 3w
Punk bands put the flag upside down on album covers. Governments put it upside down in practice. Only one group gets called radical.
