Oh dang, I didn't realize how much of a difference location makes until you said that and made me check. On my desk I could only get 40 mbps, oof. Near the window it gets 130 mbps. (on 4G, with my phone)

Definitely will have to research which router I'll get, and also the location. :drgn_thumbsup:

For a really long while I've been using other's Wi-Fi. Now they aren't renewing it... well cause they don't live here anymore. I don't feel like setting one up under my name, because it's a hassle as I don't own this house. Plus, I can't share the cost with anyone else anyways *looks around and cricket noises*.

Instead now I'm trying the "get huge phone data plan" route, which I did planned since a long while ago. The ping seems to be on par with Wi-Fi, but speed varies. I probably need a 4G router to reach even higher speeds.

What's great is it's half the price of a Wi-Fi subscription (for my amount of data usage), and I can have the same experience anywhere. Even in the actual forest.
