Libertarianism can be taken too far. But government is a very inefficient way to do things and right now in the United States, total government expenditure, including state and local, as a percentage of GDP is like 46%. So for every dollar in the economy, almost half of it is the government. That's just ridiculous because private enterprise could do all that stuff for a nickel.
