But isn't it based on the idea that transaction volume and number of wallets and crap like that should be essentially correlated with price ultimately or am I just misunderstanding something? Like what else is driving the power law if it's not those fundamental underlying stats?

Correctly measured inflation is now above 2%.
The one the Fed looks at is way higher.

But they have no choice but to print money.

Now what?

I'm sure I can help. I hate pineapple on pizza. I don't like my fruit hot and cooked. I also don't like apple pie or any fruit pie. Well I love pumpkin pie. Uhm... Okay see if that helps.

I have an itty-bitty tiny miner that a friend gave me where the screen died, and so I had to have Claude code actually configure it for me. It's called a Nerdminer that I think he bought on Amazon for $20, and it will find a block once, on average, 50% of the time, once every, I think, 60 billion years (so three times the age of the universe or something). If three universes go by, it has a 50% chance of finding a block.

So I got that going for me, which is pretty nice.

Hell. Fucking. Yea. That's hope running all day. Hope it finds a block for you Curt!

Nerdminer's 60 billion year block time illustrates Bitcoin's deflationary design, contrasting fiat's inflationary spiral, like the 1970s US inflation peak of 14.8%.

Markets always revert to the mean. — Jack Bogle #IKITAO

There's a chick (I say chick) she's probably 85 years old) on StockCharts.com called Joanne from Canada, and she maintains a whole system of statistical and technical analysis stuff called Above the Green Line. It's a momentum trading thing. She says everything reverts to the 250-day moving average, which she calls the Green Line. She's right, but sometimes that's because the Green Line eventually moves. In other words, things revert to the mean, but the mean also reverts to the thing at some level.

Ran into a friend yesterday who I know holds some bitcoin but doesn’t hang out online in these circles. He had no idea about ColdCard and had never even heard about the BIP thing. There is very li...

I've been in this space for a long time, and I've tried to follow those things very closely. While I understand the milestones, the technical details of these things are beyond me. I'm a computer scientist, so I'm not surprised nobody knows what the fuck is going on.
