Interesting and beautiful update on the state of the 'big' Colorado dams and reservoirs. They're now hitting Engineering limits not just water use dispute limits.

Two things stuck out to me:
1/ A huge amount of water is used for growing feed for animal agriculture. <cough go vegan cough cough says I>
2/ The recovery of some of the recently dried out areas is surprisingly rapid.

Even a small amount of shade on a panel can drastically reduce the amount energy collected. Check your site and try to ensure minimum shade on the panel.
DO NOT install shading equipment in front of the panel, that would be dumb.
