Fiat is currently a self terminating system and I believe politicians also disappear when fiat dies for good

When Bitcoin emerges as the replacement of fiat, guardians emerge as the replacement for politicians

Guardians are selected on a basis of ability and merit. They agree to a 4 year period of public service after which point they can either be

1) Re-appointed for a second 4 year period if effective

2) Appoint a successor whom they will mentor for 2 years

3) Be replaced by a more competent guardian if ineffective

Politicians are deleted. Government is reduced to a national network of guardians that protect property rights of citizens, the resources of the nation and defend foreign invaders. All power and decision making is pushed to the local level. Families with the most resources will become quasi monarchs that are elected via merit and ability to become the guardians of communities/cities. Guardians assemble on councils to transparently make major decisions about services provided to citizens (policing, fire rescue, paramedics). Guardians across Canada gather monthly to transparently and publicly discuss and vote on national policies regarding energy, defence, immigration. Education and healthcare are pushed to the local level with national level open source initiatives created. Free markets restored, sound money adopted to replace $cad. Voila. Huge upgrade

First mandate of guardians will be to investigate corrupt politicians and publicly hold them accountable for crimes committed during political tenure including money laundering and treason
