I love 60s/70s rock, especially the love songs. You can, and should, mentally replace any use of the word "love" in a classic rock song with your favorite term for banging - the more lewd the better. Only then do the songs come alive to the modern listener.

Oh boy. Where do I begin? Will Stancil is a lawyer, he ran for office in Minnesota, he's basically liberal commenter online. He became famous though, when the guardrails got pulled from Grok on Twitter. Grok decided to get a little spicy, told people how it would have its way with Will Stancil, how it would break into his house and leave him like a wobbly baby giraffe. The works. Twitter then lobotomized Grok, but the internet being the internet, Will became a celebrity for all the wrong reasons.

I've never actually seen any of the Atari computers in person. I think a 5200 is basically just a 400 stuffed into a console.

Growing up, my uncle always left his hand-me consoles at my grandmothers for us to play. When I was about 6 or 7, the dog chewed the cord and that was the end of it. I was in college when she died, when we were cleaning out her house they were just going to chuck it, so someone fixed it for me. Its universally hated for the controller, but I have a soft spot for it.

I think you would have been blasted for saying this a year or two ago, now I think people are starting to see it. There are a couple things you can do to make life a little more tolerable:

1. Mute all the normal bitcoin slogans that get repeated ad nauseam. All of em, if people want to parrot bumper stickers let them do it into the void.

2. Rely on the Mastodon bridges. They've been kind of spotty for me lately, but mostr(.)pub and momostr(.)pink bring Fediverse content to nostr. You have a better chance of getting more interesting niche content there.

3. Reply to accounts you do find here that aren't real bots or human equivalent of bots like mad. Those are the accounts to try to save.

4. Try to limit how much you yourself talk about bitcoin here, reduce the problem by one. I allow myself one bitcoin related post per week for example.
