3rd time in 6 months an earth event has forced an internet break here in South Kona - 2 major wind/rain storms and a house moving earthquake. Being off-grid solar helps, it was some comfort having the lights on while watching the wind try to push the double doors open. The loss of connectivity was inconvenient, but not painful. Really should do it more often, instead of waiting for the crazy gods to impose it. #Hawaii #Weather

Still, the major #US news outlets are mum on this. Most reporting #news outlets are referencing The Guardian’s article. A newly created Texas oil company is landing drilling equipment on #Greenland.
