Ok i mentioned it cuz in Cake wallet for example you can select an in-app option to use tor and use .onion address nodes without needing external tor connection.

But if you verified your wallet doesn't have that then yeah the cause is something else.

I think wallets that support tor have their own in-app tor client, so if you use tor on the device level too that could be nesting tor within tor and break or be extremely slow.

If you already have tor at the device level then your ip is protected even if you use a clearnet node address in the app. The node only sees the tor exit relay ip. The difference is that you can see the node ip which is not a risk for you, only for the node provider.

Maybe that other tor node also had issues. Tor is sometimes veery slow.

Kids need to get into practical and aplicable knowledge, and also focus on food production, home building and other practical skills as young as possible.
