Despite its apparent over-abundance of options, KDE Plasma's System Settings provides NO WAY to:<li>Enable an SSH server</li><li>Enable a grayscale "bedtime mode" like on Android</li><li>Change the device's hostname</li>

Gnome Settings provides a way to do all of those things. :neocat_surprised:

It's an independent rolling release that does staged updates pushed to stable every Friday.
Very stable, and has only broken on me when I've had hardware issues (dying SSD etc.) or done something really incorrectly.
If you like Flatpak (relatively small package repository) and know what you're doing with regards to Linux, I highly recommend it.
