The European relatiionship with the English language is a wild experience. I am looking at jobs in Northern Finland looking for wait staff, sled handlers and hospitality jobs looking for C2 (lawyer/interpeter level) English. That is absolutely bonkers and excludes even the traditionally good English speakers in the Netherlands and Nordics. #ELA #europeanunion C2 is also pointless for the majority of learners

Cycled around Cork today, which wasn't fun. Then took the train to Killarney, which also wasn't fun, then cycled to our B&B, which also wasn't exactly fun either.
Cycling provision is generally poor ...
