Today I had the opportunity to speak at UWC Arusha Campus for their Career Day as a keynote speaker.
I was asked about my career journey and how I became the founder of Bitcoin Arusha — from working at Deloitte, to social impact projects, to education and schools, and ultimately building Bitcoin Arusha.
It was a great panel discussion, followed by sessions with three classes where I introduced students to Bitcoin — what it is, why it matters, and how it works in the real world.
We explored tools like hardware wallets (Trezor) and even looked at a BitAxe miner, giving students a hands-on introduction to Bitcoin.
Excitingly, this has led to an invitation to return after Easter to run a full workshop and potentially launch after-school Bitcoin classes.
Very grateful for the opportunity — and excited about Bitcoin Arusha playing a role in educating the next generation.
The future is bright.
