All my machine tools are manual which I love running but dreaming of a small CNC lathe someday. Can’t justify the cost currently. I have a CNC spindle router in my woodshop and rigged up a machinist vice so I have a cheater CNC mill at least when the manual one is too slow.

It’s just a matter of time before this really starts hitting hard. There will always be room for some to keep their jobs but just like CNC’s did for manufacturing, job rolls will shift and change. It’ll probably turn into a much smaller number of coders overseeing the code than actually writing it. Interesting times ahead.

I’ve heard this as well with wheat abroad but I’ve yet to have the chance to experiment myself. A few friends have first hand accounts of that experience so it’s very true. For me it seems to be all wheat that I can get here, organic or not. I’m not one but celiac is rampant in my family so it’s probably a slight variation of that.

I feel for you, I dealt with exactly your scenario for the majority of my life and was in and out of doctors and hospitals for 5-6 years in my late 20’s. After essentially the same experience you’re having and getting zero relief from treatments doctors tried, I took matters into my own hands and did exactly what you’re doing which led me to discover it was wheat. It’s a tough road figuring out GI issues, I have two close people in my life going through similar I’m helping out right now, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone having gone through it myself. Once I figured it out it completely changed my life in the best way possible. The challenge is worth the reward if you can find relief. Stick with it! You got this! 💪🏼
Thanks for the morning convo 👋🏼

One thing I’ve always found quite odd about it is that I suffered from horrible gut problems for the first 30 years of my life. Turned out it was wheat (or whatever passes for that in the US) causing a massive amount of inflammation in my body. Once I figured this out and got it under control is when my sleep patterns really locked into the 6 hour routine. I’d be curious to understand how it might be linked. I’m sure it has to do with your bodies way of handling inflammation but I’ve never done a deep dive.

This has actually been my whole
life so before screens were so prevalent but they certainly can affect it of course. Certainly not denying that’s a factor.
I’m a professional musician and also have a cat so getting consistent sleep is nearly impossible sometimes but when I’m home for longer stretches I always feel best.
It runs in my family as well, neither of my parents sleep very much either and never have.
