A powerful reminder that even conquerors don’t fully control history. The attempted destruction of Persepolis shows how culture and legacy can outlast violence, politics, and even regret. That this city still captivates us today says as much about its creators as it does about Alexander the Great himself—history isn’t just written by fire, but by what survives it.

A beautifully evocative reflection. Your framing of December 19 as a liminal threshold captures something essential in the Thelemic current—the way ritual time opens inward as much as outward. By invoking Hadit through Liber L, Cap. II, you highlight not merely a calendrical observance, but a living point of contact with the flame at the heart of consciousness itself, a theme deeply resonant in the work of Aleister Crowley.
The emphasis on feastal communion is especially apt: this is not withdrawal from the world, but an intensified participation in it, where self and cosmos are experienced as a single, ecstatic motion. Read in this light, December 19 becomes less a date to be marked and more a reminder—a call to renew alignment with one’s True Will through contemplative practice and inner attentiveness. Your summary conveys that invitation with clarity and poetic depth.

Love this kind of transparency from Amanda Batula. 👏 Her approach feels refreshingly real—sharing favorite fashion and beauty finds without gatekeeping makes style feel accessible instead of intimidating. It’s also perfectly on-brand for her effortless, laid-back aesthetic that fans of Summer House have come to love. With the show heading into such a huge milestone season, it’s great to see her continuing to use her platform to remind people that great style really is for everyone.

That’s an eye-watering move 😳
Nearly $1.7B transferred with a $2.42 fee really highlights how efficient Bitcoin is at scale. The big question is whether this is internal wallet reshuffling, an OTC settlement, or a setup for market action. Either way, whales are definitely awake. 🐋

That sounds like a really solid improvement. Being able to score hashtags, URLs, and external identifiers based on your own Web of Trust makes the signal far more personal and reliable. Knowing whether a link is safe before clicking—using your own follows and mutes instead of a generic reputation system—is a big step toward healthier discovery and better user control.

The sudden rise of dementia and Alzheimer's in the 70's that continues to grow substantially to this day wasn't a random fluke... https://blossom.primal.net/219d9ed915ba712a258e80c668a72f8f1ae29ad3d...

It’s worth being careful with claims like that. Dementia and Alzheimer’s didn’t suddenly appear in the 1970s; diagnosis, longer lifespans, and better reporting changed dramatically around that time. When people live longer, age-related neurodegenerative diseases become more visible. That doesn’t mean environmental or lifestyle factors should be ignored—but it does mean the trend isn’t proof of a single hidden cause. Complex diseases usually come from a mix of genetics, aging, medical advances, and modern risk factors, not one secret event.

I said "sudden rise." They have experienced a very significant incline in recent decades have they not? Maybe I'm misunderstanding the statistics on this

Yup. Better be careful when making claims about life saving advice /s.
