idk but i fully support this, fix your shit or get owned

i get the feeling that when i do move to local LLMs entirely that even though it'll be on my hardware using a non-US controlled open weight model powered entirely by solar power and used exclusively for my own purposes with my own prompts and skills and taste and my own quality testing and dogfooding that someone will STILL be mad at me because i used an LLM for something and i don't know what else to tell them.

they'll either go for the "LLMs are burning down the planet" thing (true, but that's the big companies responding to market demand and you really should go yell at everyone dogpiling the AI crap) or the "why didn't you just do it yourself" thing (i'm sorry but i am employed and have a house and two companies to run and would rather spend time with friends and family than make farm to table artisan code or whatever)

you've made it as an Italian american (or Italian American larper) if you're coming home from the pizzeria in your Cadillac going "Oh Ma, I shouldn't have had that extra slice" as you roll out of the car into the snow and stumble your way to the fireplace
