Today was so rough. Detailed mixing help, troubleshooting VSTs. The problems I noticed were fixed, problems I did not notice were also fixed. Now... let us hope the client likes it.

We found out certain piano VSTs do not have mic placement options, but others do, and that was an assumption others made - that the piano they told me to use could be adjusted, but it could not, and it was the source of glitchy bs. So we got to change it, and solve several issues at once.

Much relieved!!

Ugh. I installed more RAM, and the glitchy bs with the #VST piano from #Musio is back. I can start the playhead at silence and hear a metallic, percussive sound that echoes. It repeats every time you stop-start the playhead. Does not sound in smooth continuous play until late in the track.
