I think that qualifying BIP 110 as an attack on Bitcoin is retarded.
I'm not an expert on this stuff, but going through the process they are currently going through seems to be what Bitcoin is all about. They're just using the protocol.
If you consider people using the protocol to achieve somethings you disagree with to be "an attack on Bitcoin" it seems like you think Bitcoin ought to be exactly what you want. But I don't think that's the case.
I'm planning on offering SO MUCH into the future. Plans are easy tho. I don't have a timeline or clear plan for anything but yeah I hope one day I'll get to offer many titles.
Or
Or maybe I'll just stick to a very little selection of books but printed on cotton paper or something special like that.
The hard part is the design. I have to hire someone. I don't really know how much I'm supposed to pay them but I paid my designer 50$ for that one. That gets costly when it's just a one off. And I don't even count the time I had to put in myself to come up with the general idea then discuss a bit with designer. Costly, timely and kind of a sucky process for me to go through.
I wish I could just take book orders like that but I would have to ask for too much money I think. I could probably let myself tempted for a decent offer tho. But in general of people don't come at me with their budget and a decent one I'm going to say no for now. It makes more sense to work on books I might be able to sell in large quantities.
It's open right now. If I could get one or two order and make the donations before telling twitter it would give me more credibility. If you go check everything will be recorded and transparent.
