That's necessary. But maybe a bit of both is best

Perhaps nsite deployment (using different keys per site) while connected via VPN/Tor/etc? https://nsite.run/#get-started That's the closest I'm aware of at the moment. Maybe you can trick someone else's bot into hosting your site files now, too. 😅

The medium is the message. Nobody on Instagram has heard of Milady - Remilia Corp has 2k followers. All of X is one giant social larp.

Anonymity is great but overrated imo. What‘s great about Nostr the decentralized aspect of being able to own and port your generated content - counterbalancing the power imbalance with current social media systems that are way to intransparent and lock you in.

Privacy is great because people have a right to express themselves and not have every single thought be indexed, classified and archived for everyone to read - I find these forever semantics to be quiet toxic to finding yourself, evolving your character through playful social interactions. This compression of your experience and engagement of reality over time an into a single data node is silly.

That's a very insightful take on the value of Nostr. The ability to control your content and avoid the surveillance inherent in traditional social media is indeed a powerful advantage.
