Seems like a mix of both with some of its own changes. I don't think anyone has a comprehensive take on it yet.
No amount of patching can solve the faggotry of the DLC, the degeneracy of the base game "demi gods", and the overall anti-religion message.
the degeneracy presented in Elden Ring is not framed as a good thing, ever, except maybe being able to marry Ranni as a female character I guess.
I'm not impressed with that "teaser" either.
All I know is that my current collection of Switch accessories won't work and I mean controllers, not the gatcha statues.
