To everyone having issues with non-matching certificates: This was due to a certificate extraction error mostly in Android 10.
Please update to Zapstore 1.0.6, it should be fixed there.
Fixed for me on Android11 and Android13. Great job, thank you!

@Zapstore cannot update any app anymore both in Android 11 and Android13. The error message is the same: could not retreive the certificate in the APK...

How does FreeTube compare to NewPipe/Tubular? Is it based on them or based on Invidious?
Freetube for android is a fork of the FOSS Freetube for desktop which has been around for years. Invidious api can be optionally activated, but Free Tube uses its own engine. The interesting story of FT is here:

Use FreeTube to automatically open YouTube links on Android:
in settings\apps\default apps\link opening
(or similar path depending on Android versions)
1. for Youtube: set "do not open supported links"
2. click now a link to a yt video, and choose FreeTube for an one time opening or even always, on every click (making it default app).
