That is expected. Even the profit margins for it are so high, new competition aways show, making the prices drop back down. The only time this don't happens is even the government put barriers on the way, like patents, regulations and stuff.

I haven't touched Ubuntu in years. Snaps pushed me away. Having every snap get mounted as a disk thst shows up in all disk utilities got very annoying.
Snaps do that? Wtf, I never used them so I had no ideia lol

To everyone who says it's stupid to spend money on local AI when cloud AI is cheaper, I say to you:

For me to run a local LLM that has any utility for me I would need to fork like half of my yearly income, so for now at least it's completely unreasonable for me to buy that stuff
