Apparently, if you mail Steam Support about it, you _might_ get a complimentary free game? Got a first-hand confirmation from someone that they did in fact get a free standard edition game.

Also heard the same from others who are awaiting theirs at the moment.
Went from "arrived at sorting center" to "delivery today" without anything in between.

Das Vertrauen in die Betreiber von Kreditkarten und Paypal ist zuletzt gefallen, Gruende dafuer sind vielfaeltig.
Gleichzeitig wollen viele Menschen aber die Bequemlichkeit, "nur" ihr Handy, nicht den Geldbeutel, mitnehmen zu muessen.
Wero befindet sich im Kompromiss zwischen diesen beiden Situationen.
Ja, Google/Apple/Swift, ich weiss.
Besser waere es, per NFC mit der Bank-app zu zahlen. Wenn der Haendler will.

@nprofile1q... Ich glaube nicht, dass viele Menschen Wero feiern, weil es per QR-Code funktioniert, sondern weil es sich als EU-Alternative zu PP praesentiert.
Klar wuerde ich gern einfach ein paar MUenzen in die Kaffeemaschine werfen anstatt die x-te Handy-App zu nutzen, aber die Lebensrealitaet sieht halt anders aus.
Und lieber lobbyiere ich beim lokalen Restaurant, das nur PayPal und Bargeld akzeptiert, fuer Wero anstatt fuer Master/Visa.
