Harry on nostr

Recent Notes

I watched the trailer, and didn't like it. I prefer docus that are more balanced in showing pros/cons, that are less dramatic, and more boring.

I'm not a big fan of bitcoin, but still no.

I’m 1 minute and 32 seconds into a documentary and already wondering why the filmmaker did what they did. Whyyyyy?!? This is gonna be a long hour and a half of research.

Everyone is Lying to You for Money. I was truly worried about how I was going to make it through it the first couple of minutes. But I understand what they were going for creatively. Wouldn’t open a doc that way. But to each their own. Interesting doc. But I don’t think most peeps on Nostr would...

Strange, despite being an educational video, I was truly and emotionally moved by the part about Deliberation. It's beautiful how people *can* arrive to a constructive agreement on difficult topics based on shared understanding for each other https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7LvhSQ5Te4

The question is: are there still open high quality discussions and exchanges of knowledge somewhere on the internet?

Or is everything floodes with spam and slop, if it's open, so they don't even materialize.

What's the point and benefit of social networks as we know them nowadays, even #nostr I'm not sure. It's really weak entertainment and shallow knowledge.

I remember reading Usenet decades ago and being fascinated by the level of those conversations.

This Web that requires me to login is very strange. The internet is so vast, that I can easily find interesting stuff without that shit.

Very strange, just move on...
