Will definitely try that as soon as it is out. Ideally I want something simpler than Ghost, maybe like Start9 Pages but for clearnet. Haven’t even tried Pages yet.
Really intrigued by the idea of a simple self hosted static site/blog and just uploading hand coded html and css files. Maybe with a simple post/editor field.
I would love to see more Linux support/resources on the site. I know you say it is not in the scope you cover with your support but you sell a Linux based machine so I would love some help.
Mainly want help around updates. I borked my Apollo somehow fumbling around with updates and installs and had to re-flash. I know we can’t update to 22.04 but would love some instruction on what we can update, how to do that and how to install apps. The update UI is confusing.
Maybe best to use the terminal for all updates and installs instead of the GUI?
I would love to use the included Linux desktop more just scared of borking the miner again.
@nostrich Any ETA on the clearnet network stuff you guys are working on? Lost my blog today and would love to use my Embassy to host a simple static blog.
Stupid question…can I ‘side load’ applications on EmbassyOS using terminal like I can in any Linux distribution?
Wanting to install Radicale and maybe OpenMediaVault. Trying to decide between EmbassyOS and using my Pi as a server/NAS with a headless Raspberry Pi OS install.
I guess I have to install EmbassyOS to see what applications might be in the alt marketplaces eh?
Kinda meant in general. Their site mentions it but I was clear if everything is E2E all the time or not.
If I access and edit a file or note, over clearnet, that is saved in NextCloud ,while outside the house using their app or via iOS’ Files app (if that’s possible) is that E2E?
