If coldcard was intentional, i do not believe it would have been a direct attempt. Most likely some form of government exit scam attempting to sell the ability to undermine the most security oriented to any state agency but AI found it first.

NVK did once mention if the coldcard were a government contract it would cost more than one $100,000 each, stating the current sale price is a very good deal. Which could suggest he has government procurement on his mind. Very minor chance but still...

A great city can never reside within a single country but in the open minds of it's inhabitants. The term "great city"should be understood as the unrestricted interaction of ideas. Physically represented as an accumulation of overlapping wave fronts. A temporary rogue wave in the ocean of time, a change maximal.

This concept should be separate from the mantra hard times create great men, and could possibly represent something different, something beginning to emerge from the deep, a "great society" a more permanent form of "great city". Which will only will emerge afloat on truly hard currency... the flow of productivity returning to consumer.

Example, look to Vienna 1900 on a gold standard, gold with all it's flaws was able to elevate vienna to it's level at the time before sinking back into the darkness.

now, that totally makes sense. The risk/reward for that could definitely be worth it someday. my machine isnt a relay, but I have a cache over 100k kind 1 events. Its really easy to collect data on this network. Its really easy to put anything on here too.
