I blame the ethernet protocol designers and the RJ45 people and the DNS inventors and especially that one person who thought putting a little plastic thing that likes to break off on RJ45 would be a good idea.

I agree with that the smartphone itself is exchangeable.

But to me it looks a bit Ship-of-Theseus-like (in the "decorated with flowers and bird feathers and little fake diamonds" case).

I think that might a bit depend on the person.

For me, a computer is personal in a way a smartphone could never be (clunky interface, all the things you mentioned.)

But a lot of people decorate their smartphones, have cases with changing stuff in them. And of course do all the social media things with them. And are likely not aware that they have little control over it.

@LisPi More than the "shoot everything" stuff, this game immediately triggered the urge to write or play a game where one explores a limitless, procedurally generated, Blame-style megastructure.
