I would agree to some extent... but aren't the newspapers the newspapers of the times? Most musicians don't even write their own music, it seems most lyrics are algorithmic these days. The big three being pop, rap, and country are mostly just copies of their peers. Nobody is creating social commentary anymore. The best I can think of are Bob Dylan and Tupac and nobody is doing anything close to that . The one exception I can think of recently is Oliver Anthony's song "Rich men north of Richman".

I gotcha, I guess we better make sure these mining pools stay profitable. I'm not sure how long the owners would like running their facility at a loss. If that does become the case it also becomes a paradox, the one thing that is insuring their wealth is also eating away at it.
