Pseudonymity is imperative for a free society. https://relay.dergigi.com/46506dd93afc1c324cc735a2e854bfe930252fd1c00fe177a8d224cc532a2791.jpg

You are not correct @Gigi . Pseudonymity is imperative to for freedom of speech in times of no freedom. In free sociaty nobody would have to hide behind pseudonyms!

Thus, pseudonymity is key now considering times we live in. But by far cannot be a goal. People should be allowed to be brave enough to stand behind they believes, actions and words.

Pseudonymity is merely a workaround !

Umm, so he's not wrong then. In your model, when you transition from not needing to needing, you won't have it. You preserve it in all times, because when you need it isn't predictable.

Freedom of speech means freedom to offend, to speak your mind, to say something stupid, to state something that's wrong. It means freedom to joke, freedom to make fun of an enemy, freedom to insult a ...

True, still freedom are two elements really.

1. Ability to make your own decisions - this everybody here understands.

2. Wisdom to use that freedom in best possible way - Stephen Covey or Ray Dalio etc. - it means no regulation but outcomes are reward or vice versa thus self regulation.

I noticed that in freedom communities often people forget about the second one. Which is more acknowledged in business environment.

I guess that the case as we want to ensure more freedom laws etc. Still second point is even more important as it builds stronger societies that can protect freedom instead of falling into chaos.

nostr is now more important than ever. True pseudonymity is possible here. It isn't on X, or any other centralized platform. nostr:nevent1qqs85k2cgwqhrc9zhmx0y0zcxxqewstzgrgqzj3ymtjgrxz9npaunjgppemhx...

Dam, I need to change my profile then 🤣

Just kidding I like to put my real name against my posts. But good point @Gigi on Nostr pseudonimity Bering true safeguard of free speech.

Although I have to say, for me true free speech should mean you do not have to hide your name.

I mean the medium in the sense of "media", for example how software companies attempt to "eat the world" by intermediating everything. The benevolent version would be to create a medium that intermediates, but which the designers are locked out of changing arbitrarily (for example, paper, the intern...

Agree 100% sound money are way more than means of payment. It is how we can freely exchange value which is base of any serious human cooperation really!

One thing I noticed within BTC community though is a bit of hate to other coins. O agree Bitcoin is the first and best one as it stands… still often people hate other solutions not even reviewing those but rather due to BTC ideology.

I get it comes from many scams and actual shitcoins in the space… still there should be some space for competitiveness in Crypto Community, don’t you think?

@Gigi are you as well BTC only regardless of what other blockchain solutions are on the table? (“Bitcoin maximalists” style?)

Oh ok, so basically what you mean is to evolve and go outside of previous generation limitations.

Agree with that quite much as times change we need to change as well. At the same time some core values needs to stay as those are universal. I wonder about your thoughts on balancing those two areas?

Great point. To me, this is where you have to sit down, and work on a self-image, a vision of you’re future self As part of that, you outline your ethics, core values as you say Often, I’ve found, they are ancient wisdom (10 commandment type stuff) that you align with
