hmm, I did get your payment, so I guess the new address is working in itself. Switched to the built-in Primal wallet for now, so hopefully zaps now work 🤞 Something about Primal that causes zaps to only work within its own wallet perhaps??

This. Here's a real world example - just over a year ago I was in Liverpool watching the team parade the PL trophy through the streets. Thousands of people crammed into a few city streets along the waterfront. Phone network already couldn't cope. Lost my wife in the crowd, couldn't message or call. Then some lunatic drove his car into the edge of the crowd. Chaos ensues . After 30 minutes finally managed to find her by chance in the entrance of an underground parking garage. I'd been close enough the entire time to have been able to contact her even with a direct BT connection with no mesh intermediaries. Local FB groups were full for hours of panicked relatives asking for word of people that they couldn't contact because the phone networks were still jammed up. BitChat fixes this (a bit at least)
