Which relay is going to transmit notes of a terrorist organization? Which client is going to allow relays that transmit such notes?

We can get darker than that, but I think you get the point.

Delegating censorship resistance to humans obviously cannot work.

It has to be embedded in the protocol.

I doubt the network would haven taken off with that economic model, but yes the beneficiary of the service paying for the service is a viable model.

Unless I’m missing something Nostr seems to have that model completely reversed.

Who would the miners be charging in your scenario?

Couldn’t #nostr be built on top of LN with a mandatory 1 sat fee to send a note?

The person who is escaping censorship should bear the costs, not the person or organization providing the tools to bypass it.

On #nostr the exact opposite is true.
