I started about a year ago and it took me about 5 weeks to get it really active and smelling good. Somehow it had trouble doing pure white wheat. I think in week 4 i finally started increasing white wheat while decreasing whole wheat.
Right now i toss it in the fridge during the week or sometimes even two weeks and i can just go straight from the fridge into a loaf even though i usually do 1-2 feedings after the fridge if i get the chance.
