I need to understand this better. I can’t get the other thread to load properly to comment directly. Am I right understanding that ELISA tests are measuring RNA antibody expression as a result of [damag] and the assumption is it’s HIV rather than any other ongoing stressor (e.g. opioid abuse), and we cannot differentiate that in lab because we can only test for proxy of viruses (antigen/antibody expression) rather than the viruses themselves [assuming viruses are real for the purpose of this question]?
