It’s a mixture of truth, lack of context, and people thinking they understand the law when they don’t. I am on the registry if that’s what you’re asking. But how I got there was not as bad as is usually portrayed, but it was still wrong doing, for which I pled guilty (not a deal) and served every single day I was sentenced. I find very few people are actually interested in the facts though.

I want to give a quick shout out to npub12262qa4uhw7u8gdwlgmntqtv7aye8vdcmvszkqwgs0zchel6mz7s6cgrkj for architecting and getting the new system going that will host all of my projects moving forward. It is far beyond anything I would have been able to set up on my own, but he has been extremely patient and transparent every step of the way, teaching and explaining everything so I can administer this beast of a server. I’ve learned a great deal, and will continue to learn a lot in the coming weeks, but I already have more confidence that the data belonging to the people trusting me to hold it for them is safe and secure. A full write up on the experience is forthcoming, but I wanted to thank my fellow purple cat for the absolutely exceptional work and assistance.
