Agentic AI-based services are the new Shadow IT. Change my mind.

In absolute agreement. I'm seeing Security Operations Centers where analysts and engineers are feeding full emails or system alerts to systems not trained or tuned specifically for such events to ask "Is this malicious?" or "Is this worth investigation?" As a result they are most often creating excess work to essentially verify the results and find that there was nothing to investigate.

So given Blue teams current struggles to keep up, they're often shooting themselves in the foot while providing sensitive data to external providers.

Here’s what happens when you put tin foil on your WiFi router. https://blossom.primal.net/2d41b137ba99af55347f634db4a43935d6eaed805bf6b39a8fe0173e4366d1bd.mp4

Sure, you reduce the power, but also will have spurious retransmissions of packets because of lower power, so all connections will be poor.

Also aside from turning it off, a lot of router/AP combos do support WiFi schedules, so that the radios can be disabled on a timer when you're sleeping.

If you don't want the radio rattling around, learn how to do some network cabling. :)

Wasting perfectly good aluminium foil.

As I understood him, I don't think the CIA origin theory per se is his foremost concern. He even said he likes the idea of Bitcoin. His beef has to do with traceability and lack of privacy. That's w...

This is a concern that is not discussed enough, especially on a platform where Bitcoin is dominant in a way that screams (to me) social conditioning to keep investment moving into Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has become valuable because it has reflected the value of store that people have put into all of the hardware, but Proof of Work cannot continue the way it is because resources will dwindle, and personally I believe something that is as trivial to track as BTC shouldn't have a future in a sovereign system. There has been plenty of research done that indicates how certain mixers leave telling fingerprints.

Even if not built and controlled by a nation state, it should be considered a tool that only extends the current and extremely unfair economic system we live in.

Your gut microbiome gets everything it needs from Carnivore! Do you still believe you need fiber for your gut?? https://youtu.be/4eAyJNdTSMo

I don't intend to be rude but for the people following this kind of work - be wary.

Humans are not homogeneous - you cannot tell everybody that all they're better off with diet X or lifestyle Y - it depends on personal (epi)genetics.

I'm neither vegan or anti-carnivore, but the notion that you get everything you need by eating the middleman is disingenuous.

Variety is the spice of life, and yes you need fiber from plant material (but not everyone needs raw uncooked fiber).

Likely to be an unpopular opinion on this platform, but Bitcoin is not the saving grace of the financial world and it feels like I'm witnessing a massive psyop with the way BTC is being promoted and romanticized on Nostr.

There is a place for cryptocurrencies, but most implementations are cash grabs, are poorly implementated, lack true anonymity, and are legitimately adored by LE agencies.
