Agentic AI-based services are the new Shadow IT. Change my mind.

In absolute agreement. I'm seeing Security Operations Centers where analysts and engineers are feeding full emails or system alerts to systems not trained or tuned specifically for such events to ask "Is this malicious?" or "Is this worth investigation?" As a result they are most often creating excess work to essentially verify the results and find that there was nothing to investigate.

So given Blue teams current struggles to keep up, they're often shooting themselves in the foot while providing sensitive data to external providers.

Here’s what happens when you put tin foil on your WiFi router. https://blossom.primal.net/2d41b137ba99af55347f634db4a43935d6eaed805bf6b39a8fe0173e4366d1bd.mp4

Sure, you reduce the power, but also will have spurious retransmissions of packets because of lower power, so all connections will be poor.

Also aside from turning it off, a lot of router/AP combos do support WiFi schedules, so that the radios can be disabled on a timer when you're sleeping.

If you don't want the radio rattling around, learn how to do some network cabling. :)

Wasting perfectly good aluminium foil.

Which Phone OS do you use?

Currently I am on a Pixel 5a with Graphene, but it has been out of support for some time and I'm considering the move to Lineage for this device.

I severely limit what I do on it, and also have a background in network and device security so I'm able to monitor my device in a way that I feel I can hold out longer with out of support devices than I would advise for the general populous.

Yeah the old Pixels unfortunately had shorter support lenghts, but the 8 I use will be supported for a long time 2030 at least, that means another 5 years of #GrapheneOS for me

Graphene themselves say that with a 5a you are unprotected in case your device gets into the wrong hands.
