That dude is way behind on the times. Can’t blame him though, he is in his 60s.

“Just invest 25% of your income and after 30 years you’ll be a millionaire!”

First, good luck having that high of a savings rate in this environment. Especially if you have a family. Second, $1 million will be more like $500k (best case scenario) in 30 years….

Do these people not do the math or anything? Their advice is not tenable.
