It is a problem but something out of my control and up to relay operators. It is likely they are deleted faster as they are encrypted and from throwaway keys so relay operators have no way to determine that the nostr events are important of if it is just junk spam. If you want to be certain your nostr events are kept by relays then the only way to be sure of this is to run your own.

By default the posts are sent to nos.lol primal.net and offchain.pub.

You can see what relays your posts are sent to by checking the Dev console after making a post.

Was it just that all the old posts are gone or can you no longer make new posts?

All the forum posts are stored on public nostr relays. It may just be that the relays your forum was connected to purged all old forum events.

At this point we have the tools. We just need people to care and choose to use them.

At some point I had planned to share a second forum client inplementarion I have to show how different apps can read the nowhere data. And at the same time use the fragment directory as an example of this.
Not sure when this will happen.

My hope is that even a completely non technical person is able to create a site with the simple builder and share a link to their website.

The goal is not just the censorship resistance but also be super easy.

I used verification phrases and avatars generated from npubs as a way to be a placeholder image and also an easier way to verify user than npub string without relays.

You can't remove from a server what was never put on a server.

I used deflate plus a dictionary swap of common words and URLs for compression on Nowhere.

You can fit the data needed to create a site in the URL.
