I can't find anything official that says it has passed. As far as I see it was only introduced and read in the senate but hasn't made it out of committee.

@nprofile1q... The five years is missing. The OP makes it sound like he did zero time for it. The name of the victim is missing and so is the name of the criminal. It leaves out his original sentence (8 years), which is nuts on its own. It leaves out that he skated on murder and elder abuse charges. Instead, he was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. It also leaves out that he killed the man without provocation according to the media. The family thinks the man was targeted for his race (asian).
