Yesterday I migrated my #alpinelinux install to #zfs and #zfsbootmenu. It was not too difficult even though I've done it from partition to partition on one drive. Although I wouldn't recommend it to a non techy person.
I even managed to compile zfs modules for my custom LLVM compiled kernels.
So not a big deal actually.

Tonight the waves of bot traffic hitting many of the servers I manage have intensified, including Brew on BSD Cafe, but not only that. Honestly, the feeling I have now is no longer the same as it was ...

Maybe that wave of bots is hyperscalers way of telling you: "you need to buy more powaaaa".
Think about what would average so called "cloud engineer" do ? Answer: scale her/his K8 clusters to the sky to cope with load.

So today some more #Mikrotik saga.
I've bought esim (for my Chateau 5G 17ax) from another operator which has cell tower a bit closer. Signal is steal weak but at least RSRP usually stays below -100 dBm.
In the morning I got 135Mbps of download speed.

So btw. I just bought and installed #Mikrotik 5G 17 ax. I live in the middle of nowhere so the only option for me to get internet is mobile network (no, I will not buy Starlink ever).
Of course I have weak signal here. But in spite of that it's twice as fast compared to my previous 4G router which died. Around 40Mbps.
As for the RouterOS - it offers great enterprise like features. When compared to OpenWRT it is even a bit overwhelming offering so many features.
