@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... I have used those methods too, especially on kids' phones. One issue is that you have to leave the bootloader unlocked with /e/OS, which is not secure. As second is that it's not entirely clear what is or what isn't happening with Google services on /e/OS; not technical enough to understand. My own phone is GrapheneOS atm.

Thanks for your response. GrapheneOS is now my daily driver. The 'extraordinarily false narrative' you refer to is my personal experience. As a regular user I am not aware of discussions happening between the groups in the background.
