Tested out Primal for iOS
Ngl I prefer the way Damus handles reactions.
In app Notis on both can be better
Typing also better on Damus for now. (Weird buggy autocorrect going on in Primal)
Both have issues with media files
Damus can upload video but file size is unknown (to me at least)
Primal doesn’t allow video upload.
Primal however shows me more items. I have some “DM’s” I just can’t see in Damus, that I can in Primal.
Conflicted as to which one will stick in my apps for now. Probably Damus. This might change.
Awesome work is being done on both though.
Nostr interoperability is bonkers
Another thought I’m capturing here. What happened to BitTorrent and limewire and Linux.
Famous open sourced protocols that have a core user base to this day, but made obsolete in the minds of the bug eaters by greedy corporations packaging the same product with a more “premium” UI for profit.
Is Bitcoin to share the same fate?
