I didn't claim it'll reverse anything. Neither did you. It was about whether or not they are victims or bear responsibility.
There won't be a reversal anyway since there won't be all the exceptions and extras the UK had before. (Barnier is an entirely irrelevant figure who misses the spotlight).
That's what this time *Rejoiners* have to be honest about. but I don't see many who are.

This has nothing to do with schadenfreude.
It's about taking responsibility for one's actions.
Because only the Leave side sold numerous lies.
Cameron even used taxpayers' money to print and send a (IIRC 16 pages long) letter to every British household, honestly explaining the consequences for leaving.
Every remainer laid them out, too.
The EU and MS politicians, when prompted, also stresed them.
It was a *choice* to believe lies over inconvenient *facts*.
And that must stop.

I'm sorry to hear that.
I am aware that your current government is as disastrous as many others in Europe, the US, and others (although to their credit, they're not surrendering to Putin unlike others).
Nevertheless, the advantage is still that you have a much sounder basis that takes longer to erode—and voters can kick the destructionists out before there's nothing left.

That's why I don't see the UK rejoining any time soon:
It'll take a couple of generations to overcome the deeply engrained exceptionalism, entitlement, cake-ism and, sorry for my French, arrogance & grandeur so many display, and not just politicians.
