I get that it's disappointing and depressing to see this absolute clown show in DC for the USA's 250th.

The reason I keep laughing, posting, and making more popcorn about it is it's exactly what we need: a giant spotlight on how big a failure Trump is.

Every ridiculous new debacle shows more racist dim bulbs the error of their way, and that's what we need.

Laugh, protest, and keep going. And hey! If Trump tries to speak a long time in 107 degree heat... it could still be the best 4th ever.

Protest Thread #111: Gangnam Style at ICE!

Oh man, for an #ICE protest, this was a fun one. The bridge trolls joined several other groups for a loud, raucous event lining a busy street near the ICE concentration camp. There were older white women, some with pom poms. There were young leftists, many in black bloc. And then there was us in our goofy costumes, dancing around to loud music, which included "Gangnam Style" at one point.

15 #ICE protesters in #Minnesota who defended their communities from the lawless thugs in ICE were improperly charged with criminal activity.

14 of them appeared yesterday in court to plead not guilty. A giant crowd of #Minneapolis protesters showed up outside to cheer for them. (One more remains in custody for some additional charge.)

That's showing up for the people who showed up for you. This is how the regime falls.

Yesterday in #WashingtonDC, on the steps of the Capitol where protest is currently not allowed (!), an active duty officer in the #AirForce deliberately broke the law to honor his oath of service. He called for the removal of Trump, and he wore his uniform to do it.

Rep. Al Green, my favorite member of Congress, and the Removal Coalition stood with him, as did a crowd of DC protesters.
