Why the digital "mind" comes from the biological one — and not the other way around

Think of it like this: you can build something more capable than you are, but you can't build the thing that came before you and made you possible. A child can grow up to outsmart their parent in every way — but the parent still came first. The order matters, even when the result eventually outgrows where it started.

The other doesn't — or at least, we have no way to know if it does. The underlying mechanism is the same: information gaining enough coherence to start acting like a cause.
