Timber hunting can be tough. I’ve shot my fair share of trees throughout the years trying to thread the needle😂 Years ago I finally decided to start shooting at distance after having to pass up so many opportunities on critters that were just too far away. Usually they’d bust me on a stalk (having to cover such large, wide open spaces) and I’d end up empty handed. Decided learning how to extend my effective range was the answer to my problem…and it ended up turning into an amazing hobby too!
Appreciate the link! That was only 100 yards just to get the scopes dialed. I previously trued both of those loads out to 400 and they were still sub-moa. Plenty good for me and my typical deer/antelope/elk hunting ranges.
Fully agree. It’s just the bullshit federal and shipping regulations that are the pain in the ass. Maybe with enough encouragement it might be worth looking into tho. 🤔
Got some range work in the other day. Dialed a couple new optics with some recent hand loads. Never ceases to amaze the accuracy improvements you see when compared to factory. I wish there was a way I could sell boutique custom ammo on Nostr for sats…dream gig. #huntstr#gunstr
