The #domestic #migration in places such as #India is humongous (10s of millions) and the life of #migrants is just as precarious as that of international #migrants as legality is less of an issue. It is about having a voice and a social safety net to survive. This doesn't get much attention - the international component overshadows the domestic one.

Sudden destruction of #oil #gas infrastructure and NO protection for the poor. Rock and hard place for the poor. Die of #climatechange or from #starvation due to fertilizer shortage.
