The real issues are very poor IP reputations and most Web Application Firewalls block such IPs because most of them are involved in abuse, spam and other shithead activities.
You can't solve that issue except any provider gives a fuck about abusive IPs.
But to be honest. In reality providers should check their subnets and take care and not just leave them because this brings issues to everyone

Maybe it can be done through Nostr. But Nostr is super niche and we deal with thousands customers, not sure how many of them use Nostr. If it is 1% it is a lot.
I don't see email login as a big issue since you can use aliases etc. No personal information needed.
If it comes to privacy the payment method is much more important. We prefer Monero for that reason. Best for us and customers.
And with Nostr you have an identity as well, so it is similar to an email - identity wise.

Yes we do. Its needed to send you invoices, if there is any maintance window, and for abuse notifications. You can use any email address, it must not be a personal address, you can use any alias service you want like SimpleLogin or addy.io.

we run a new Web Application Firewall to bring more security in the game. We had many attacks and the WAF already helps a lot.
I have to admit that we have also false positive but for that we need feedback so we can adjust the rules.
Most attacks cone from Mullvad and other VPN IPs. We don't block any VPN provider or Tor but IPs which were involved in such attacks.
