As in: why is any given time a solid percentage of the toddler-community cosplaying as spiderman?

Like, today toddler and I were in Legoland and in the Peppa-Pig kingdom alone existed three different spidermans.

Note: I've tried asking a lill spiderman. He hissed in my face and ran away laughing.

Note: I don't care for superhero type characters in general. So is it maybe the pyjama that makes it more relatable than, let's say, Superman?

Life lesson: approaching the 20 something grumpy guy who just parked his child-seat-free massive SUV in an IKEA "family spot" and managed to block the doors of a small Toyota Aygo with two child seats...

Note: I'm rather shy in public as figuring out how people will react is not one of my top10 skills.. The combination of the heat and knowing some parent would return to find access to two child seats blocked kinda did it.

Anyway. Very cathartic experience and I'm considering triggering arseholes into Code Red more often.

Well, I guess it helps that both Eurosky (which started as one giant GDPR violation and only decided to become 'european' after failing to raise millions for their global platform) and W-Social have a shocking amount of vocal support from a number of politicians that should stay far away from this.

I too love dunking on LLM tools. With this type of claims I do wonder whether this is really new behaviour, or simply a new shape of something old.

In 2005 I created a Wikipedia page about a topic edging environmental protection and law. It was factual but did include a key bit of editorialised wishful thinking.

Soon after there were many language versions of the page, and a multitude of NGO and government websites boosting and acting on the claim.. in reality the law was only enacted in 2020.
